Design Leadership in Pittsburgh since 1976

Design is a driving force that connects each of us at AIGA. We’re creators and innovators whose canvas isn’t limited by format. AIGA Pittsburgh is part of a national organization that acts on a local level. We’re invested in empowering creatives, from all walks of life and disciplines, in the greater Pittsburgh-area. 

As the largest community of design advocates, we bring together students, educators, practitioners, enthusiasts, and patrons – across three rivers and 90 neighborhoods – to amplify and give voice to the vision of a collective future. We do this through education, networking, professional, and personal development. We want creativity to be accessible to all who seek it.

We’re in the middle of a moment and a movement – we know we can’t do it alone. We look to our friends, coworkers, peers, and you to help guide our path. 

If you’re even a little bit curious, we encourage you to attend an event or reach out to a board member to learn more. From seasoned directors to fresh college grads – we welcome you, your voice, and the opportunity to learn from each other.

As the largest community of design advocates, we bring together practitioners, enthusiasts, and patrons to amplify the voice of design and create the vision for a collective future. We define global standards and ethical practices, guide design education, enhance professional development, and make powerful tools and resources accessible to all.
