Recap: CCAC Portfolio Review

CCAC portfolio review was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who came out to help and review and to all the students who shared their work.

We ended the evening with a talk from Paul Haggerty, a Pittsburgh native and seasoned graphic design professional with over 15 years of experience. Growing up, he was inspired by his dad, who played in a metal band in the 80s and designed the band’s logo and posters, sparking a lifelong passion for visual communication. Heavily influenced by vintage ephemera—especially from the psychedelic era—as well as music, album art, and gig posters, Paul brings a unique blend of nostalgia and creativity to every project. Specializing in typography, branding, digital illustration, and print design, Paul has worked with a wide range of clients, helping to bring their creative visions to life.

We’re grateful to have had such an inspiring close to the night, and we can’t wait to see what these talented students will achieve in the years to come. Here’s to fostering creativity, building connections, and celebrating the power of design! Thank you again to everyone involved in making this event a success—until next time!
